The Beginning
How Purty Hats was named
Several years ago, the creator and artist lived in the high desert, during the winter, off grid. It was snowy and very cold.
There was one wall unit propane heater for the whole cabin, but it was so drafty, it literally snowed in between the gaps in the construction.
One way she was able to keep warm (and keep her sanity) was with her cat, Purty. She's soft and warm and snuggly, just like Purty Hats.
